Building Physics
We undertake surveys to gain an understanding of our client’s buildings with a view to establishing how we can make them more energy efficient, thus saving money for our clients. At the heart of our studies is the aim of making buildings more comfortable for its occupants whilst also reducing carbon emissions
Zero Carbon
We advise clients on moving their assets towards a zero carbon environment. With support from our network partners we can build and manage multidisciplinary teams to carry out a wide range of studies from assessing the potential to create zero carbon zones to the feasibility of developing district heating systems and much more.
Project Management
All our work is underpinned by good project management processes delivered by our experience project management staff. Our project management team can support any initiative from initial concept and design through to procurement and installation.

Products
Having established the energy savings actions required in your building, we can where appropriate, suggest a range of innovative products that will reduce your energy bills. Most of the products can be used in either the domestic market or in commercial buildings but we will be help in the selection as may be required before hand. Full details on every product with references from other users is available.
Installation
The recommended energy saving measures might include home energy management systems, a key component of any future smart energy system, as well as any other energy saving devices. Several are easily installed by the purchasers while others need more specialist installers which we will delighted to arrange as part of our turnkey service to our clients. We will also give you the building owner introductory training on the new systems
Research & Innovation
Research and innovation is at the heart of our business, enabling us to obtain the knowledge we require to turn our ideas into new products and services.
Consortium approach
One of the ways in which we undertake our research work is to partner with organisations such as University departments, Local Authorities and other likeminded private companies. We have strong bid writing capabilities to complement our technical strengths and we regularly submit joint research proposals to the major Welsh and UK funding bodies.
In-house internally funded research
We also fund our own in-house research projects when circumstances permit. A typical example of a project we have funded ourselves would be our SolarVenti home environment project. For this project, we undertook a field trial of a SolarVenti solar energy system that we installed on a terraced home North of the town of Maesteg. The project demonstrated how this new and innovative project could reduce relative humidity and thereby contribute towards reducing damp and mould in a home.
We are currently carrying our early stage research on our ‘Caraventi’ product, designed to reduce damp within mobile homes and caravans, particularly when they are being overwintered.
